The isaCommunity kicks off in summer 2025 at mdw Vienna. This week-long masterclass combines artistic practice with social engagement and action-oriented learning. In hands-on workshops, you will develop and implement your own ideas. A concert format created during the isaCommunity will be performed during the 2025/26 season at the Wiener Konzerthaus and TONALi Hamburg.

Eligibility:
Students from conservatoires or pop academies (4th semester or higher) or graduates (up to 3 years after graduation, max. 33 years old) with an interest in community projects, the social dimensions of music, interdisciplinary collaboration, and diversity. Traditional instruments from all cultures and pop musical instruments are encouraged and welcome.

Participation Fee:
Thanks to the isaCommunity scholarship awarded to all accepted applicants, the course fee is reduced to €200 (regular fee: €450).

How to Apply:
Submit a personal video (in English, max. 3 minutes) and a musical video (unedited, no more than 12 months old, professional production not required).
